Coverage while moving between countries
A regional plan may connect to different partner networks as you travel. Coverage and speed depend on the available network and your location. Crossing a border can take a few minutes to register, and manual network selection may sometimes be included in the setup instructions.
Will my phone work in Europe?
Your phone can use a travel eSIM in Europe if it supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Check for an “Add eSIM” option or an EID in your phone settings. Your Australian SIM can stay in the phone: with dual SIM it may remain available for calls and texts (your own carrier’s roaming charges apply), while the travel eSIM is used for mobile data.
