Terms of service

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These Terms of Service apply when you browse telroo.com, create an account or purchase a product from Telroo. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. About Telroo

Telroo sells prepaid travel eSIM data plans for compatible, unlocked devices. Your purchase is made directly from Telroo, and card payments are processed by Stripe.

2. Eligibility and information you provide

You must be able to enter into a binding contract in your location. You are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing and order information, including an email address you can access while travelling.

3. Product suitability and device compatibility

Travel eSIMs require an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device. Compatibility can vary by exact model, country of purchase and carrier restrictions. You are responsible for checking the exact device model and unlock status before purchase. Our compatibility guides assist with this check but do not replace the device manufacturer's or carrier's information.

Plans are data-only unless a product page expressly states otherwise. A plan does not include a local phone number, calls or SMS merely because it provides mobile data.

4. Plan information

The product page forms part of these Terms. Please review the covered destinations, data allowance, validity period, activation timing, network information, hotspot support and any fair-use or speed conditions before ordering. Network availability, technology and speed depend on local operators, location, congestion, device capability and other conditions outside Telroo's direct control.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes and the final total are shown at checkout. Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel an order if payment fails, information appears incorrect, a plan becomes unavailable, fraud is suspected or we cannot lawfully supply the order. If we cancel a paid order before supply, we will refund the affected amount.

6. Digital delivery

eSIM details are delivered electronically to the email address provided with the order. Delivery times shown on the site are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Contact us promptly if the delivery email does not arrive, and check spam or junk folders first.

Activation details and QR codes may be unique and may have limited reuse. Do not share them publicly. Do not delete an installed eSIM unless the instructions or Telroo support tell you to do so, because reinstallation may not be possible.

7. Installation, activation and use

Follow the instructions supplied with your plan. Some plans begin when installed; others begin on first connection to a supported network. The product page and delivery instructions take priority where plan-specific timing differs from general guidance.

You are responsible for selecting the intended data line and for managing roaming settings on your primary SIM. Your Australian carrier may charge separately for calls, SMS or roaming on that primary SIM.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use an eSIM or our website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or network-disruptive activity, or attempt to resell, duplicate, transfer or reverse engineer an eSIM where the plan does not permit it. Local operators or suppliers may suspend service for unlawful use or a breach of applicable network conditions.

9. Cancellations, refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Haven't installed your eSIM? Request a refund. A$0.30 per order is deducted to cover Stripe processing costs. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain unaffected. See our Refund Policy for details.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a product or service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as correction, replacement, cancellation, refund or compensation depending on the circumstances.

10. Third-party networks and services

Travel eSIM service relies on suppliers, local mobile network operators, device manufacturers and payment providers. References to third parties do not mean they endorse Telroo. We remain responsible for obligations that apply to us by law, but cannot promise uninterrupted coverage in every building, region or network condition.

11. Website content and intellectual property

The Telroo name, website design, original text, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to Telroo. You may use the website for personal shopping and trip preparation. You must not copy, republish, scrape for commercial reuse, interfere with or misuse the website except as permitted by law.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Telroo is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide, an incompatible or locked device, failure to follow plan instructions, deletion or sharing of an eSIM, primary-SIM roaming charges, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This clause does not limit liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Stripe (card payments), Cloudflare (website hosting, data storage and the Turnstile check), Resend (email) and our eSIM supplier eSIM Access may also process information needed to operate checkout and fulfil orders, as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our products, website or legal obligations change. The version published when you place an order applies to that order unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.

15. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the Australian state or territory connected with the transaction. Courts with jurisdiction under those laws may hear disputes.

Questions about these Terms or an order can be sent through our Contact page.
