About Telroo
Telroo is an Australian travel-connectivity store focused on clear pricing, practical setup guidance and destination-specific prepaid data plans.
Telroo is an Australian online store for prepaid travel eSIMs: mobile data plans you buy before you leave and install on your own phone. The focus is clear prices in Australian dollars, plan details you can check before paying, and setup help that stays available during your trip.
What Telroo sells
Telroo sells data-only eSIM plans for single countries and for regions such as Europe, Asia and Southeast Asia. Plans do not include a local phone number, standard calls or SMS, so your Australian SIM can stay in the phone for those. Each product page lists every plan's data allowance, validity and price, and its Technical Specs: the networks used, hotspot support and whether speed is reduced after a daily allowance. Data routing can vary by plan and network; email support@telroo.com if you need to confirm the current exit country for a plan.
There are two kinds of plan: fixed data, one allowance for the whole validity period, and daily plans, a high-speed allowance each day with reduced speed after it is used until the next day.
Visiting Australia from overseas? Telroo also sells data-only Australia eSIMs and daily Australia plans for visitors.
How the store works
- Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Telroo runs its own online store and checkout. Payment is a one-off card payment on Stripe's secure payment page; it is not a subscription, and Telroo never sees your full card details.
- You do not need an account to buy. After payment, each eSIM is emailed to the address used at checkout, with its own QR code and installation steps.
- Your order page shows the order status and, once the eSIM is ready, the QR code, a quick-install link, the manual activation code and your receipt. You can sign in later with a one-time email link to see your orders.
- If an order needs a manual check after payment, the order page says so and we contact you by email. You do not need to pay again.
- Your plan's validity starts when you first use it in a covered destination, not when you install it. Install on Wi-Fi before you fly.
- Changed your mind? Request a refund if the eSIM has not been installed; see the Refund Policy.

What we will and will not say
Travel data plans can look alike while differing in validity, activation timing, networks, countries covered and speed limits. Our guides explain those details from the product information and from official sources such as Apple, Google, Samsung and Smartraveller, with the date they were checked. We do not publish invented ratings, reviews or speed and coverage promises; coverage always depends on where you are.
Before you buy
A travel eSIM needs a phone that supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Use the compatibility guide and, if your phone came from an Australian carrier, the unlocking guide. The eSIM explainer covers how a travel eSIM works alongside your Australian SIM.
Getting help
Use the contact form for help with your eSIM. We’ll get back to you shortly by email. Include your order number, destination and phone model, but never your QR code, activation code or payment details. For installation problems, start with the troubleshooting checklist; for cancellations, see the Refund Policy, which does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
